Gazprom says 2023–24 winter to be as warm as in 2022-2023

ST. PETERSBURG, Oct 31 (PRIME) -- Gazprom expects the same weather during the 2023–2024 winter as during the previous one, Deputy CEO Vitaly Markelov said at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum on Tuesday.

"We have pumped gas into underground storages. I reported our weather expectations at a meeting of the executive board. There will be no serious changes. It fluctuated between 0.5 degrees below zero to plus 1 degree. We expect the same winter as last year," Markelov said.

However, consumption in the country is rising significantly because of connection of new consumers, the executive said.
